The Dassault group is a French group of companies including Dassault Aviation. Dassault Aviation is a private company established in 1930 and operating in France. The company was originally founded in 1930 and through the Second World War and a series of mergers has grown to be a large supplier of both military and personal aircraft.
Dassault private jets include:
· Falcon 10/100 - A scaled down model of the Falcon 20, the 10 or later named 100 which seats 4-8 people.
· Falcon 20/200 - The original Falcon, the 20 or later, 200, was extremely popular and manufactured between 1961 and 1988. It is the basis for the entire Falcon family.
· Falcon 50 - Essentially a Falcon 20 with three jets, the Falcon 50 is a super midsized corporate jet unique for its engine design. The 50 was replaced by the 50EX and is still in production.
· Falcon 900 - The Falcon 900 models are three jet engines modeled after the Falcon 50. Again the three jet design is unique among the business jet industry.
· Falcon 2000 - A twin engine version of the 900 capable of transcontinental flight.
· Falcon 7X - presented in 2005, the Falcon 7X or formerly FNX, is the largest of the Falcon family. It is the least expensive long range, large cabin private jet.
